Books & Blocks: Virtual Minecraft Club

Books & Blocks is a fun, creative five-week virtual book club for kids ages 6–10. Together, we’ll read the first book in the Minecraft Woodsword Chronicles, "Into the Game!", and use Minecraft Education to build scenes and ideas straight from the story. This program is perfect for all readers! Whether your child loves to read or needs a little extra motivation, Books & Blocks will keep them excited week after week! Logistics: The club meets every Sunday for five weeks from 1:30–2:30 PM on Google Meet. Each session includes a read-aloud, short discussion and/or activity, and time for kids to build and explore together in Minecraft Education. We will provide login details and licenses for Minecraft Education. All you'll need is a device that runs both Google Meet and Minecraft Education simultaneously (i.e., PC/Mac, iPad). *** As this is a virtual program, we welcome all kids interested in joining, even if they don't live in Vermont! ***
