Children ages 0-18 can earn up to 10 book swap credits for each book donated in the swap box* and at the event!

Credits will be distributed at the "check-in" booth on the day of the book swap.

*Please note that any poorly marked or unacceptable (see "Swappable Books") books may result in a lack of book swap credit. All book swap credits for previously donated books will be determined by Vermont Literacy Network prior to the event.

Swappable Books

The Fall Book Swap is all about sharing the joy of reading with children and teens, so we’re focusing on books for ages 0-18. You’re welcome to bring a variety of children’s books, including board books, felt/fabric books, picture books, early chapter books, graphic novels, and young adult novels.

Please ensure the books are in good condition and suitable for young readers. While we appreciate all types of literature, this event is specifically for children's and teens' books, so we kindly ask that you do not bring adult books for the swap.
