Developing a love of reading begins with a spark of magic—Once Upon a Story is an event designed to do just that! Immerse your child in a world where stories come alive, letting them meet cherished characters like Goldilocks, the Three Little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood. Each tale unfolds in its own special space, encouraging young readers to explore, play, and dive into the wonder of storytelling!

VLN is inviting local vendors to be a part of this special event! This is a unique chance to connect with families and showcase products, activities, or services that align with our enchanting fairytale theme.
We welcome a variety of vendors:
Activity Vendors
Booth Fee: $0
Host an interactive, fairytale-inspired activity station where children can explore and experience a related craft, game, or other engaging hands-on activity that brings beloved stories to life!
We welcome local libraries, community theater programs, and similar groups to set up engaging activity stations. Fairytale concepts are available on a first-come, first-served basis at registration.
Product Vendors
Booth Fee: $50
Showcase your family-friendly products in our Fairytale Marketplace where children and their adults can discover whimsical, story-inspired treasures!
Product vendors are encouraged to offer items that connect with the magic of fairytales, literacy, and imaginative play—think enchanting toys, books, crafts, and unique keepsakes that inspire wonder.
Service Vendors
Booth Fee: $50
As part of our Fairytale Marketplace, service vendors can add an extra touch of magic with kid-focused offerings like face painting, balloon animals, or whimsical hair styling.
Your booth will be a favorite stop for young guests looking to immerse themselves even more in the enchantment of the day!
